About the Principals
Lane J. Anderson, President and Founder
Lane Anderson has been engaged in marketing and new product development for more than 20 years as both a business owner and an employee of companies providing services to business owners.
He earned his Master of Management degree with emphases in Marketing and Finance at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Having worked at Harris & Love Advertising in the early eighties prior to business school, he landed a brand management job after business school at rapidly growing Kraft Foods in Glenview, Illinois. There he marketed and managed large established brands in the Refrigerated Products Division and joined the Strategy Group to create DiGiorno Fresh Pastas and Sauces for a new fresh foods distribution system. The brand subsequently joined the other refrigerated products and was expanded nationally.
With intense interest in creating new product businesses and better understanding the factors that make them successful, he joined the Flagship Group based in Denver, Colorado in 1989 and rapidly became a principal. This company specialized in innovative new product creation and marketing, and it developed proprietary new businesses for companies in frozen foods, grocery products, and arts & crafts. In 1995, Flagship purchased a unique toy and clothing company of its own and developed it into a multi-million dollar enterprise.
With this broad base of experience, Lane recently founded Prospecta, Inc., applying these marketing principles to a broad range of consumer businesses. His company works with carefully selected clients to give them the personalized attention and service their businesses require. His experience extends across a wide variety of consumer products and marketing disciplines to meet a broad range of business needs.
Paul Barker, President & Creative Director of Barker Design
For the past 23 years, Paul and his team have been generating creative solutions and graphic designs for print and online media to enable companies to clearly and impactfully communicate with their customers and stakeholders.
Paul received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Brigham Young University. He also participated in a graduate program at one of the premier design schools in the world, the Kunstgewerbeschule, Schule der Gestaltung, in Basel, Switzerland.
He has been creating award-winning designs for a wide variety of clients including: U.S. WEST, Johns Manville, Vail Associates, Colorado National Bank, Vantage Bowling, TeleCommunication Systems, Horizon Organic, Spectranetics and Convergent Communications. Paul has received numerous awards for design excellence from NIRI, the Denver Advertising Federation, the Art Directors Club of Denver and top honors from the Kunstkredit design competition in Switzerland.
As part of the Prospecta team, Paul and his staff can create innovative website designs, logos, packaging, and print materials that align closely with your marketing strategy and plan.
