Lane J. Anderson, President and Founder

Lane Anderson has been engaged in marketing and new product development for more than 30 years as both a business owner and an employee of companies providing services to business owners.

He earned his Master of Management degree with emphases in Marketing and Finance at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Having worked at Harris & Love Advertising in the early eighties prior to business school, he landed a brand management job after business school at rapidly growing Kraft Foods in Glenview, Illinois. There he marketed and managed large established brands in the Refrigerated Products Division and joined the Strategy Group to create DiGiorno Fresh Pastas and Sauces for a new fresh foods distribution system. The brand subsequently joined the other refrigerated products and was expanded nationally.

With intense interest in creating new product businesses and better understanding the factors that make them successful, he joined the Flagship Group based in Denver, Colorado in 1989 and rapidly became a principal. This company specialized in innovative new product creation and marketing, and it developed proprietary new businesses for companies in frozen foods, grocery products, and arts & crafts. In 1995, Flagship purchased a unique toy and clothing company of its own and developed it into a multi-million dollar enterprise.

With this broad base of experience, Lane recently founded Prospecta, Inc., applying these marketing principles to a broad range of consumer businesses. His company works with carefully selected clients to give them the personalized attention and service their businesses require. His experience extends across a wide variety of consumer products and marketing disciplines to meet a broad range of business needs.

Brent Hicken, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Brent started his career developing financial reporting software for Andersen Consulting’s United States operations in his native Chicago, IL. The resulting application received such acclaim that it was quickly rolled out to the worldwide organization.

Brent earned his MBA at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University giving him a deeper understanding of marketing, finance and business management. He worked for Kraft Foods for 8 years in Advertising and Consumer Promotions and in the Sales divisions in various technical and managerial positions.

In 2005, Brent put all of his marketing, business development and technical skills to the test by becoming an entrepreneur and owning his own online, subscription-based business. It continues as a successful enterprise with additional business partners and several employees.

Brent joined ProspectaMarketing in 2009 and helps dentists to grow their businesses using the Internet to increase visibility for the practice and attract new patients. He helped conceptualize and develop a customized tracking and follow-up tool specifically designed for dental practices to improve their lead tracking and conversion rates and to understand their return on their Internet marketing spending. Many dental practices have chosen to expand their use of this tool to all of their lead generating activities because of the results they are experiencing.

Brent enjoys spending time with his family, serving in the community and in his church, and helping people have a reason to smile.
